Hungary will join the celebrations of the Big Jump with the biggest splash in the region. 15 municipalities, 8 counties and 8 rivers and creeks will participate in this year’s Big Jump, dedicated to the Amazon of Europe. WWF Hungary accepted entries for the nationwide Big Jump Challenge 2016 until Danube Day (29th June) – for which 15 settlements registered this year.

The central event in Dunabogdány is hosted by WWF Hungary and sponsored by Coca-Cola Hungary and the city council of Dunabogdány. There will be a bike tour from Budapest to the free beach and visitors will be expected from 11am at the venue. The first 300 people who register for jumping will receive special gifts. There is also going to be a giant slide, crafts corner for the little ones and a beach volleyball championship. Right before jumping, the Dunabogdány brass band is going to come and cheer on the crowd. For more information, please see the poster below.
