Everyone is invited to take part in the Drava Winter Descent in Croatia- the goal of the event is to send a clear message, which says that people want the Drava River, one of the greatest natural treasures, preserved and protected.

Most suitable for the descent are canoes and kayaks, but one can participate in any type of boat. Anyone interested who doesn’t have a kayak or canoe of their own can still take part by booking a place in one of the organiser’s boats. Please note that there is a limited number of places, it is therefore best to apply for one as soon as possible.

Meeting point is at Dom Lastovica in Donja Dubrava (please see map below) on Saturday 16.1.2016, at 09:00 am. Participants will then descent along the old course of the Drava river to Donja Dubrava, followed by a meal at 3 pm. Participants will also have the possibility to see an exhibition of photographs by Goran Šafarek.
